The Sustainable City 2010
Event: This Conference aims to address the many inter-related aspects of the urban environment from transport and mobility to social exclusion and crime prevention. The meeting will build on the contributions made in previous conferences, which successfully managed to provide an international view of the problems facing modern cities and their solutions. Eco-Architecture 2010
Event: This third International Conference on Harmonisation between Architecture and Nature (Eco-Architecture 2010) follows the two successful meetings which were held in the New Forest, UK (2006) and in the Algarve, Portugal (2008). The aim of the conference is to provide a forum for discussing the many relevant aspects of Eco-Architecture: by definition it is inter-disciplinary and requires the collaboration of engineers, planners, physicists, psychologists, sociologists, economists, and other specialists, in addition to architects.

6th European Sustainable Cities & Towns Conference
Event: The Dunkerque 2010 conference will explore how local sustainability can represent an answer to the current economic, social and climate challenges and how it can be further implemented at the European level under the actual financial and political frameworks. It will also offer a unique opportunity to assess and push forward the progress and achievements of European local governments in the field of sustainable development.
After the successful conferences of Aalborg 1994, Lisbon 1996, Hanover 2000, Aalborg 2004 and Sevilla 2007, more than 1000 local government leaders as well as representatives of local government networks, European institutions and NGOs are expected to take part in the largest European conference dedicated to local sustainable development.

INTA34 World Urban Development Congress
Event: Regeneration of Pasaia, the fishing and commercial port of Gipuzkoa, and new infrastructure like the high-speed railway will give the city of Donostia-San Sebastian and its metropolitan area an entirely new image. Major challenges are at stake to manage successful integration of the redevelopment: how to balance rapid urban growth while retaining and enhancing the unique historic and cultural environment? Which new functions to develop on the territory? How to raise public awareness and efficiently integrate the population in the decision-making processes?
The 34th INTA Congress will explore different approaches on how development and renewal are reconciled with preservation of a vibrant cultural setting.
Keynote speakers, on site workshops, skills development for professionals, master classes, guided visits, social events, cultural and culinary experiences are all part of INTA34 Congress.
