• Benjie K (Outside San Francisco): Marriage equality.
• The gay marriage issue. I say this because he didn't have to take that stand but he stood what's right and followed through on it.
• His decision to redirect the route to avoid problems with the very public display of the Olympic torch. However, he failed to address his own position regarding China treatment of the Tibetan people.


Thumbs down:
• Anon (San Francisco): Why are there still homeless people in San Francisco?
• I am not sure if I am fair to the Mayor on this because in San Francisco, the Board of Supervisors has more power. But recently the city has taken to legislating what drug stores can sell and not sell.
• His failure to keep his pants zipped up.

City Mayors provides Mayor Monitor (MM) to allow residents and non-residents to rate the performance of mayors from across the world as well as highlight their ‘best’ and ‘worst’ decisions. Mayor Monitor uses the widely understood one-to-ten rating system, where '1' signifies an extremely poor performance and '10' ‘an outstanding one.
